When dropped, Primal Ancient items have a red beam and glow; Drops from any source of Legendary item in the game, including Horadric Caches, Kadala, and Kanai’s Cube, but only after having successfully completed at least a level 70 Greater Rift solo

What torment level do Primals drop? As long as your character is level 70, and some point in the past you cleared a level 70 greater rift to unlock primals, any item that drops for T13 or a very high greater rift could possibly drop in lower difficulties. How often do Primals drop Diablo 3? every four hours. Can you craft ancient items d3? Yes, you can.

When do primals start to drop? Been rifting 85+ for a week since returning. QUESTION. Got the difficulty set to T13 and been at it pretty hard, haven’t seen one yet. Is there another requirement I need to meet or am I just unlucky so far? 21 comments. share. save. hide. report. 100% Upvoted.

The easiest and most fun way to farm Primals is to get together with a few friends and run through the highest level GR that the four of you can handle in around 2 minutes. Pick your best speed builds and GRIND AWAY! Remember you are focussing on getting the most loot possible to maximize your chances at a Primal drop.

T16 rift takes 3 minutes each, dropping 5 legendaries GR90 takes 5 minutes each, dropping 10 legendaries Assume a full minute in town between each rift / GR Bloodshards combined from 2 T16 rifts and 7 GR90s gain another 10 legendaries. So… 10 * T16 rifts = (10 * 3) + (10 * 1) = (30) + (10) = 40 minutes

There can be serious variances in drops, sometimes you might get lucky several times in a short period of time, sometimes it can take very long between drops.

If you have 1200 or more blood shard cap, you can get primals with that character. The drop rate is really low. (estimates put it at either 1/400 or 1/500 if it’s a nice round number… it could be anywhere in that ballpark if they went weird, like 1/437 or whatever) Note that that 1/400 is Legendary (or Set) drops, not all drops.

I had a Primal drop in a normal Nephalem Rift (T13). I ran 3 of those. I then ran 3 Greater Rifts. No Primals. So just the 1 out of six Rift runs, both Normal and Greater. But Primals can drop anywhere, from what I read during the PTR? I’d also read the drop rate was ~1%. Possibly less than that.

The drop rate of Primals is supposedly 1%. On average i get one about every 5 hours played time.
