I recently got diablo 3 for ps4 to play with some friends and solo the campaign to play adventure mode. I never worried about how I looked cause I was trying to get better gear before doing so….anyway I go to try to buy some dyes from merchants and none are selling them. I mean none, not the ones in safe zones or anywhere else.

Also, when your on the “Dyes” tab at the mystic, you have to move your left thumbstick to a piece of equipment that can be dyed in order for the dyes to appear in the mystic’s inventory.

All dyes are available at Myriam npc. Dyes functionality was added directly to her interface in patch 2.4.3, removing dyes from vendors. Gold prices for dyes remained unchanged.

Not all dyes are available each time, so you may have to reset the game a couple of times to get the dyes you need. Once you get adventure mode unlocked you can go to the town in each Act to check the vendor and then restart the game.

Armor Dyes allow players to dye certain components of gear. There are 20 known colors of armor dye, plus two special types: dye remover and transparent dye (which makes the item not display at all). Players purchase dyes in the game, then use them to recolor their equipment.

Dyes can be traded between party members, sold on the AH, stacked up to 20, and put in a stash. They are initially found on vendors (see section below). There are no level requirements to using dyes: a dye only available in Inferno can be put into a stash and used on a fresh level 1 character.

How many dyes are there in the game?
