Yeah you can drop weapon and ammo Bring up the weapon wheel and hit triangle when highlighting the weapon you want to dispose. Careful though…I dropped my assault shotgun in survival accidentally when giving ammo out and despite immediately picking it back up I no longer had it after the survival.
