Second, start a mission or job as host. Set invites to closed. Invite your friends playing, or, since they are in the same private lobby, invite everyone in the lobby. If you play another job, and want it to stay private, make sure to set it to closed again before you start.
Start > Online > Jobs > Play job > Rockstar created > (select the mode you want) > (pick job you want) And, like u/Mahoganytooth said, go into your settings and make sure ‘ Remain host after job change ‘ is selected.
Start/Jobs/Rockstar Created/Missions/ Select mission you want. You are now the host of said picked job.
You only need to do two things to host jobs by yourself: change matchmaking to default closed, and change remain host after next job vote screen to on. They’re both in the Online > Options menu. Once this is done you can launch any job from the Online > Jobs menu.
To host an Adversary Mode Job: Pause the game. Scroll to the ONLINE tab. Select “Quick Job” or “Play Job.” Select Adversary Mode. If you selected “Play Job,” you can now decide which Job to play. Otherwise, you will be matchmade into another player’s session. If you are not yet Rank 12, you can still join Adversary Mode Jobs via invite.
