How to turn on autosave in gta

Open the pause menu and go to the game tab. There should be an option there to turn the autosave on and off. Turn it on and you will save automatically after every mission.

There are 2 locations for “savegames” folder.Before the update my save files were stored in appdata/local/rockstar games/gta iv/savegames/ and after the complete edition release the saves are in documents/rockstar games/gta iv/profiles/*your profile*/
