While most progress from a season, like Paragon levels, gold, and materials are automatically added to your non-seasonal Diablo III characters after a season ends, items that are earned work differently. Items that are currently equipped on a hero or in its inventory will stay on that hero as it moves to a non-Seasonal game mode.

There are other answers below:

At the end of a Season, your Seasonal Normal (or Hardcore) heroes, inventory, shared stash, and Paragon experience will transfer to your Normal (or Hardcore) non-Seasonal profile. Any items, equipped or in the hero’s inventory, will roll-over with the hero itself. Heroes seasonal tags are removed.

When the season is over (it is over for everyone, they will give us the date) you will be mailed all of your junk, just look for the icon at the lower left of the screen. Looking at your season toon you have not really done anything this season, so do not expect to receive a lot at the end of the season. You still need to do: V: Slayer VI: Champion

When a season ends all of the paragon experience you have earned will be rolled into the appropriate pool of paragon experience for the account and you will be able to start at 0 again in the new season.

The rest of your gear is gotten by the mail option in the lower left, just like claiming Haedrig’s gift. All season themes end when season ends, so this season, your Kanai’s Cube will go back to normal and double goblins will end (unless Blizzard decides to keep it).

When the season ends, your characters will lose the seasonal tag. All of their gear will stay on them. Anything in your stash will end up in your non-seasonal mailbox.

When the season ends, what happens to my Paragon level? Third question, what happens to skills I’ve acquired through Kanai’s cube? Example: I only have Tasker and Theo available in seasonal.

Blizzard officially knows that they only specifically address the end of a season when the end is only about two weeks away. A season in Diablo 3 usually lasts three months. Special circumstances, such as large patches, can lengthen or shorten the duration of a season. Officially it says: We no longer announce a probable end date for Seasons.

Heroes: At the end of a Season, your Seasonal heroes will become non-Seasonal heroes. They will appear in your normal roster. Any items, equipped or in the hero’s inventory, will roll-over with the hero itself.

What happens when D3 season ends? End of a Season At the end of each Season, all Seasonal Heroes will be moved over to the existing non- Seasonal Hero pool. All items, currency, and materials obtained by your Seasonal Heroes will be made available to your regular Heroes.
