Why are there so many eevees in pokemon go today

I caught 65 shiny eevees in total today, and I’m really tired. My eyes are burning and my brain keep playing me the eevee sound and I’m so tired of catching eevees I’m gonna go to sleep but ya I played all the community day🤯🤯🤯. Man and I thought my 26 over both days were a decent bunch but 65 in a single day is nuts.
